CharmΒ CareΒ Guide
A few small habits keep your handmade pieces looking studio-fresh for years.
Treat charms like jewelry
Your case is decorated with real charms, beads and hardware set by hand. They're built to be worn daily, but they're not indestructible β handle the case the way you'd handle a favourite bracelet.
Avoid dropping the case face-down on hard surfaces and don't sit on it in a back pocket.
Keep it dry
Adhesives and metallic finishes don't love water. Keep your pieces away from showers, pools, saunas and the beach bag.
If a piece does get wet, pat it dry immediately with a soft cloth and let it air-dry fully before use.
Cleaning
Wipe gently with a dry or barely damp microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, acetone, bleach or household cleaners β they dull gold finishes and soften glue.
For dust between charms, a soft dry makeup brush works beautifully.
Heat, perfume and lotion
Don't leave your case on a car dashboard, radiator or in direct summer sun. Heat softens adhesive.
Let perfume, hairspray, sunscreen and hand lotion dry before handling your pieces; those chemicals are the fastest way to tarnish plated hardware.
Hair clips and grips
Clip into dry hair and open the clasp fully rather than forcing it. Store clips flat rather than tossed in a bag with keys.
Grips adhere best to a clean, dry case back β press firmly for 30 seconds and let it set for an hour before pulling.
If a charm loosens
It happens, and it's fixable. Keep the charm and message us with your order number β early-wear repairs are done free of charge.
